Unfortunately, the bathroom in both rooms had considerable hair and dirt on the floor. Additionally, poor sound insulation made it easy to hear loud TV noises from neighbors, disrupting sleep. There were also issues with housekeeping, as requests for clean towels and trash disposal went unaddressed. The condition of the television in the room was poor, with many channels not working properly, cranking up frustration after a long day.

Spending a night here was quite an adventure. I arrived to find there was a power outage, so I couldn't get ready properly for the concert I was attending. It was a bit of a hassle dealing with the generator and lack of electricity for lights and television, but the staff remained apologetic throughout the situation. Breakfast was limited, but I appreciated that they did their best to provide something despite the issues. I did enjoy the nice and comfortable King Room I was in, but I believe a few updates are due to make the experience even better.

The Hampton Inn features a spacious King Room that was very clean and recently remodeled. The staff was accommodating, and I enjoyed a complimentary breakfast that offered a good selection. The location is convenient, with easy access to Premier Diner and close proximity to business centers in the Melville and Hauppauge areas. Parking was free, which added to the convenience of my stay.
